Scholarship description

The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) launched a new initiative prioritizing Chicago youth, focusing on enhancing knowledge about the dangers of vaping and promoting cessation. The #MeAndNicBrokeUp campaign encourages all Chicago youth to break up with nicotine for good and pledge to live vape-free. In partnership with Youth Marketing Connection (YMC), CDPH is awarding a select number of scholarships to Chicago-based students who commit to a vape-free lifestyle. These scholarships are intended to help students financially support their education.

I first heard about the #MeAndNicBrokeUp Scholarship through ScholarshipOwl. I wasn't expecting to win, so you can imagine my surprise when I received the email confirming that I had won the scholarship. I'm very grateful that I won and will be putting the money towards getting a degree in Chemical Engineering.
